Animals

Besides horses, Julip produce many animals in the Originals range that are also handpainted. My yard is teeming with them, as well as some other non-Julip ones, which you can see further down.

Julip Animals

Hound

Photobucket

My hound is called Herbert and was a present from my friend Annie. I added some more black patches to make him a little different.

Fox

Photobucket

My fox is called Roxy and I won her in the Christmas photography competition Julip ran in 2008.

Cat

Photobucket

This is Jerry, who I am painting to look like my real cat. He isn't finished yet, as you can see. Julip also produce a sitting cat, but I haven't got one of those yet.

Doves

Photobucket

The doves, that have not been made by Julip for a good few years, made a come back at the Live this year. I noticed them and kept quiet, but was stampeded when I told people about them the next day! I got the last pair, all the rest were sold as singles. I'm glad because I didn't want mine to be lonely.

Non Julip Animals

Cats

Blackjack

Photobucket

Blackjack was just a cheap plastic cat from a vending machine in France. He cost one euro and I don't know what make he is. If you look closely you can see he has one blue eye and one green.

Puff

Photobucket

Puff was also from a French vending machine, my friend bought him and then decided she didn't want him so gave him to me.

Yasmin

Photobucket

Another from the vending machine in France, Yasmin is a Siamese cat in a stretching pose.

Ginge

Photobucket

I bought Ginge from a dolls house shop long before I started collecting model horses. I used to spend all my pocket money on the little dogs and cats, but I have long since lost most of them.

Dogs

Murphy

Photobucket

Murphy is a Schliech dog but he fits in nicely on my yard. He is named after my school labrador.

Fetch

Photobucket

Fetch is a collie that I bought in a lovely little dolls house shop in Shaftesbury. Unfortunately, the shop has now closed. Fetch is only hollow plastic but I think he is great.

Charlie

Photobucket

Charlie was given to me by Laura and I think he is a Doll's House Emporium dog. I have him as a sprocker spaniel.

Guinea Pig

Photobucket

This tiny little guinea pig was made by Christine (forum name Elrenia Greenleaf) and she painted it in my colour choice. He is such a cute addition to my yard's menagerie.

Chickens

Photobucket

These little hens were a present from my friend Annie when she came to visit.
